Sherri Billimoria

Sherri is a Manager in RMI’s Carbon-Free Buildings program, where she focuses on the utility regulatory solutions needed to electrify buildings and transition away from fossil gas. She is the author of the reports Regulatory Solutions for Building Decarbonization and The Economics of Electrifying Buildings.

Background

Prior to focusing on building electrification, Sherri spent four years on the Carbon-Free Electricity team, where she managed e-Lab Accelerator, a multiday convening facilitating project teams from across the country to make quick progress on complex, cutting-edge electricity projects. Additionally, Sherri has worked extensively on regulatory policy process and design in both Oregon and Hawaii. She has also focused on developing business models and processes to connect low-income customers to clean energy benefits.

Before joining RMI, Sherri received her M.S. in Earth Systems from Stanford University, where she focused on environmental communication, policy, and education.
