Pam Schuckies

Pam is a former RMI’s Salesforce Administrator, based in Boulder. She worked with team members to identify and implement ways to fully utilize the power of the Salesforce platform, supporting both development efforts, and research and collaboration projects.

Background

After beginning her professional career as public school speech pathologist, she was soon drawn toward the rapidly growing world of computers. She found remarkable similarities in the processes of logical thinking found in administering speech therapy and in solving business problems. A second career emerged as Pam was a Systems Engineer at Electronic Data Systems (EDS), a Management Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and a Technology Team Supervisor at Carolina Power & Light (now Duke Energy).

With deep roots in the fields of education and technology, Pam grew further as an Instructional Technology Specialist. She collaborated with and coached secondary school teachers and higher education professors, helping them learn about and integrate technology into their instructional practices.

Always an avid lifelong learner, she recently discovered the Salesforce platform and dove in headfirst to absorb as much as possible about this powerful business tool, becoming certified as a Salesforce Administrator in the Spring of 2016. Passionate about service and giving back to others, Pam’s goal was to connect with a nonprofit organization with a powerful mission, a deep commitment to making a difference and an exceptional staff. Finding all of these at RMI and feeling a real resonance with its community, she came onboard in August 2016.
