Tripp Hyde, P.E., is the President of Hyde Engineering Services, Inc., a full-service design/build and consulting firm specializing in advanced energy projects. Prior to founding HES, Tripp was Director of Engineering Services at Stem. Tripp has overseen the design, deployment, and operation of nearly 200 energy storage systems across the US and internationally, including the Cayman Islands, Colombia, Ecuador, Nepal, and Japan. Previously, Tripp worked as an engineer in the telecom and fuel cells industries, and ran Rocky Mountain Institute’s EV preparedness initiative, “Project Get Ready”.
EDUCATION
Tripp holds bachelor’s degrees in electrical and computer systems engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and two master’s degrees from Duke University in engineering management and environmental management. Tripp is also a certified LEED Accredited Professional and Model Law Engineer. Tripp holds professional engineering licenses in ten US states.
