Silvan is a manager with RMI’s Strategic Analysis and Engagement group. He has particular expertise in direct air carbon capture and storage (DACCS) and in geochemical carbon dioxide removal (CDR).
Silvan is a social scientist by training, with experience conducting research and roadmapping work across CDR, and synthesizing insights from science and practice into recommendations for different audiences. Silvan has worked as a consultant and as an investigative journalist in both TV and print. He is also the author of two critically acclaimed political novels.
