Sergio Islas presently leads the DER Portfolio Design and Acquisition for Southern California Edison’s (SCE’s) Preferred Resources Pilot. SCE launched this innovative pilot in 2013 to help determine if the integrated use of clean energy resources can help meet the growing electricity needs in the southern region of SCE’s service territory.

Sergio is also responsible for leading a demonstration project to validate the locational value of DERs.
