Ryan is a senior associate with RMI’s Urban Transformation team, specializing in federal funding guidance, building decarbonization, and climate resilience. He currently supports RMI’s Brightfields Accelerator Initiative to install solar on underutilized urban brownfields.
Prior to RMI, Ryan was the co-coordinator of Divest Princeton, a volunteer organization that helped negotiate Princeton University’s dissociation from fossil fuel companies. He previously handled an environmental policy portfolio for PA State Rep. Sara Innamorato and was neighborhood services director of the Lincoln Square Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce in Chicago, IL, where he led master planning efforts and advanced sustainable policies at all levels of government.
