Ryan Warsing

Ryan is a former senior associate with RMI’s US Program, specializing in urban sustainability and climate-aligned land use. He supported RMI’s Brightfields Accelerator Initiative to install solar on underutilized urban brownfields.

Background

Prior to RMI, Ryan was the co-coordinator of Divest Princeton, a volunteer organization that helped negotiate Princeton University’s dissociation from fossil fuel companies. He previously handled an environmental policy portfolio for PA state representative Sara Innamorato and was the neighborhood services director of the Lincoln Square Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce in Chicago, IL, where he led master planning efforts and advanced sustainable policies at all levels of government.
