
Ryan is a principal with RMI’s India program, where he leads research, project, and convening work on electric vehicles (EVs) and urban mobility. His areas of focus include EV finance, state EV policy and incentive programs, and electric buses. In addition, Ryan established and oversees RMI’s Urban Mobility Lab, which supports Indian cities with the design and implementation of clean mobility pilot projects.
Background
Ryan previously served as a right-hand to RMI’s founder, Amory Lovins, supporting his research, analysis, and engagements in nearly 10 countries.
Prior to joining RMI, Ryan worked at Yale University, where he led the design, implementation, and scaling of the Yale Carbon Charge—a first-of-its-kind internal carbon pricing program for campus buildings. At Yale, Ryan also supported campus sustainability planning and projects.
