Osa is a senior associate with RMI’s Africa Energy Program. He currently serves as a project manager developing and implementing viable DER business models in Nigeria.
Osa has diverse experience in the power and energy sectors spanning various elements of the value chain: development of minigrids and microutilities, large-scale power generation, utility power distribution & automation, technical sales, and energy brokering and advisory services. Prior to joining RMI, Osa worked with utilities such as Duke Energy and Exelon Corporation in the United States as a senior engineer and a senior project manager. In Nigeria, he worked with startups in the clean energy space and All On, a clean energy impact investor. Some of his notable achievements in Nigeria include spearheading the development of commercial investment cases and implementation of pilots for minigrids, battery as a service for rural communities and market-focused microutilities across Nigeria.
