Nikita works on electric mobility, and engages with public and private sector stakeholders to increase EV adoption and to support India’s clean energy and mobility targets.
Background
Nikita led the gender and economic impact evaluation from commercialization of decentralized clean energy solutions at the Council of Energy, Environment, and Water. Previously, she was a regulatory analyst at the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission, where she provided technical and legal guidance to utilities to become greenhouse gas emissions free by 2045.
Nikita was a World Bank Scholar and holds a master’s degree in public policy from the University of Chicago. She has also worked for over six years on high-impact social-environment sustainability projects with the Government of India, TERI, the University of Chicago, and Tata Trusts.
