Melanie Santiago-Mosier

Program Director of Low-Income Solar Access at Vote Solar

Melanie Santiago-Mosier is the Program Director, Low-Income Solar Access at Vote Solar, the nation’s leading non-profit advocacy organization dedicated to bringing solar energy into the mainstream. In her role at Vote Solar, she focuses on developing policy solutions and engaging diverse coalitions to increase solar deployment in low-income communities. Prior to joining Vote Solar, she led the government affairs efforts for organizations such as the Maryland Public Service Commission and Washington Gas Energy Services, after serving as counsel and policy analyst for the Maryland General Assembly. Most recently, she served as a regional policy director for SunEdison. Melanie is an attorney licensed to practice law in Maryland, and holds her JD from the University of Maryland School of Law, and her BA from St. John’s College. She was recently named one of Maryland’s “Leading Women” by The Daily Record, Maryland’s premier business and legal news publication.
