Megan Kerins

Senior Associate

Megan focuses on long-term energy planning and microgrid development in Puerto Rico. She also supports RMI’s renewable energy planning and development in Bermuda.


Megan has worked in an engineering and program management capacity for over a decade. Some of her past work includes overseeing a national solar quality assurance program with Sunrun; funding, design, and installation of solar and micro hydropower projects in Thailand, Burma, and Ethiopia; and serving as an energy consultant to commercial-scale projects in the US and in Haiti. In her current role at RMI, Megan leads the Renewable Microgrids Program, bringing resilient power systems to communities throughout Puerto Rico.
