Matt currently serves as WattTime’s Managing Director.
Prior to joining the team, Matt led the founding team of UpEnergy Group, a company that finances and distributes clean energy technology in Africa and was named one of Fast Company’s 10 Most Innovative Companies in Africa in 2014.
Previously Matt served as Managing Director of Impact Carbon where he built out in-country operations, launched a climate finance consulting practice and worked with strong teams to develop new impact investment products and launch Impact Water, a UV water treatment retail and financing business.
Previously Matt worked in product management at Sunpower, with social enterprises in the NESsT venture fund, at Ashoka, and on climate modeling at Stanford’s Center for Environmental Science and Policy.
