Senior Analyst at California Public Utilities Commission

Marc Monbouquette is the lead analyst on the Distribution Resources Plan proceeding at the California Public Utilities Commission. In this role, Marc manages the policymaking process for California’s primary initiative focused on integrating DERs into utility distribution planning and grid operations. Marc has been with the Commission for five years, and has previously worked on interconnection policy, smart inverter standards development, and general rate cases.

EDUCATION

Marc holds a Master’s Degree in Energy Policy and Economics from Duke University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology from Carleton College.
