The race is on to deploy well over 50 million electric vehicles in the next 10 years—putting the transportation sector on the path to limit global warming to 1.5°C.
John is a Data Scientist with RMI. As a member of the Mobility team, he researches how to accelerate electric vehicle adoption by optimizing charging infrastructure.
Prior to working at RMI, John conducted ecological research with the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute and the University of California, Santa Barbara. His work leveraged data from field observations, DNA barcoding, and computer simulations to understand how interactions between plants and their microbiomes affect forest diversity and community structure.
