Jagabanta is a Senior Associate with RMI – India. He focuses on mobility and electricity issues in the country.
Jagabanta comes from a background of energy consultancy and development. Prior to RMI, he worked with the World Bank Group and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in the energy and climate sectors in areas including carbon pricing, mining, power systems planning, and urban transportation. Previously, he was with IHS Cambridge Energy Research Associates (IHS CERA) in its Singapore office as a research associate. At IHS CERA he worked extensively on nuclear, power, gas, and renewable projects in various geographies across Asia.
