Esra joined RMI in February 2023 as a manager in the Strategy team.

Background

Prior to joining RMI, Esra was an energy consultant with the World Bank’s Energy and Extractives unit. She created electricity generation expansion and system flexibility models for client countries to inform their decarbonization pathways. She also supported various energy transition engagements such as developing renewable energy policy notes and coal transition investment plans and frameworks, and assessing green hydrogen opportunities in developing countries. Esra has prior experience working with UN agencies and consulting firms on international energy and environmental policy.
