Elena is senior associate with RMI’s Climate-Aligned Industries Program, where she provides strategic support and data analysis for the Hydrogen team. Her work focuses on international policy and trade of clean hydrogen and decarbonized industrial products.
Background
Prior to RMI, Elena worked with the Clean Energy Leadership Institute (CELI), managing and facilitating the national pacific/mountain fellowship along with engaging external stakeholders .
Before her time with CELI, Elena worked as a graduate student consultant to conduct a feasibility study for a 1 MW community solar project with the city of Chelsea in Michigan. During this time, Elena co-taught a graduate-level course on energy justice at the University of Michigan with Dr. Tony Reames.
