Helped launch and build a new joint venture between RMI and New Energy Nexus focused on accelerating the commercialization of climate tech innovations by channeling capital and coaching to early-stage companies with transformative ideas to help them scale more quickly.

Background

Over 20 years of industry experience leading, managing and consulting on a wide range of sustainability, green building, clean energy and technology issues — most recently focused on energy, buildings, transportation and circular economy solutions. As the former Program Director for VERGE at GreenBiz, Elaine was focused on scaling solutions where technology accelerates systems thinking and sustainability across cities and industries. Most recently led Generate Capital’s relaunch.

Graduated with an M.S. in Engineering Management and a B.S.E. in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University.
