Eero is a former Senior Associate on RMI’s Center for Climate-Aligned Finance team, where he focused on developing insights and solutions enabling the financial sector to adopt and implement the climate-aligned principles needed to catalyze real economy transition toward net zero.
Background
Prior to joining RMI, Eero spent 2.5 years in the Middle East working for the British Foreign Office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, planning and implementing UK and Saudi financial-sector collaboration projects including green and sustainable finance initiatives. Eero started his professional career at Citigroup, where he worked for eight years in his native Finland and in the UK. As a Vice President – Relationship Manager, Eero was responsible for managing a portfolio of Citi’s corporate banking relationships with large multinational corporations, financial institutions, and public-sector entities in Finland and was also team staffer for junior analysts.
