Dylan Heerema is an analyst at the Pembina Institute in Vancouver, Canada. He works to advance policies driving Canada’s transition to a clean energy economy through technical analysis, research, and advocacy, in the fields of energy efficiency, climate leadership, and renewable energy. He is also passionately committed to environmental stewardship and sustainable development. Prior to joining the Institute, Dylan worked as an engineer in Canada’s clean electricity industry, and undertook graduate research on energy efficient housing for remote indigenous communities. Dylan holds a Master of Engineering in Clean Energy from the University of British Columbia, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary. In his spare time, he can be found climbing, skiing, and hiking in the beautiful Coast Mountains.
