Dr. Cheatham is an assistant professor of marketing at the University of Hawai’i’s Shidler College of Business. She received her PhD in Marketing from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business in 2017. Her research interest is in consumer psychology with a focus on advocacy, attitudes and persuasion, consumer welfare, and sustainability. Her research has been published in leading journals such as Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin. Cheatham also received both a BS in communications and American history and an MS in integrated marketing communications from Northwestern University.
