David Almeida is a Manager at Pacific Gas & Electric Company in their Clean Energy Programs Group focusing on electric vehicles. In this role, he oversees the roll out of PG&E’s EV Charge Network which will install 7,500 electric vehicle charging stations throughout Northern and Central California and the implementation of the Clean Fuel Rebate. Prior to this role, David focused on customer engagement strategies and vehicle grid integration demonstration pilots. Before joining PG&E, David worked at the Center for Sustainable Energy managing the Clean Vehicle Rebate Project as well as leading the organization’s role in clean transportation policy.David has a bachelors degree in political science and biochemistry from the University of Minnesota and a graduate degree from the School of International Relations and Pacific Studies at UC-San Diego. Prior to graduate school, David worked in international development in Southeast Asia. David lives in the Bay Area with his wife and young son.
