Darien Crimmin has been a leading practitioner of sustainability in the built environment for over 20 years. As Vice President of Energy and Sustainability for WinnCompanies and co-founder of Open Market ESCO, Darien is responsible for managing a range of energy investments and clean energy projects across a nation-wide portfolio of multifamily affordable properties. Combining technical building science with energy policies and entrepreneurial financing, Mr. Crimmin has developed a range of energy projects in multiple states, including megawatts of solar photovoltaic, dozens of HVAC and insulation upgrades, high performance envelope retrofits, wireless automation controls, and other innovative energy conservation measures.
