Dan is currently the Manager of Rates, Technology, and Energy Policy at La Plata Electric Association (LPEA) whose headquarters are located in Durango, Colorado. His responsibilities include rate design, load forecasting, and negotiating industrial/wholesale agreements while supervising the energy use and information technology groups. Prior to his management role, Dan was the System Engineer at LPEA for nearly 20 years where he was primarily involved in distribution system planning, rate development, system integration, data analysis, and AMI implementation/administration. Dan is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Colorado.
