Daina lead RMI’s work with traditional media. She was responsible for promoting RMI’s work and enhancing the organization’s thought leadership in global media outlets, ensuring we are present in relevant narratives, and building our brand through media channels.
Background
Daina is passionate about using the power of storytelling for change. She has over a decade of communications experience in the human rights and international development field. Prior to joining RMI she was senior communications manager at OutRight Action International in New York. She has also worked at ILGA Europe in Brussels, Care International UK, and the Gates Foundation in London, and other roles. Originally from Latvia, Daina has lived in eight countries to date and speaks English, Latvian and Russian fluently.
