Dai Lin

Dai Lin ([/dī/] [she/hers]) is a former Startup Success Manager at Third Derivative, a RMI venture that unites innovative startups, investment funds, and large corporations to accelerate the energy transition through a vertically-integrated global climate tech accelerator program.

Background

Dai joins RMI upon completion of MIT’s System Design and Management program as a MIT Energy Initiative (MITEI) Society of Energy fellow. She worked on low-carbon solutions with Shell TechWorks, the Hewlett Foundation, and MIT’s Office of Sustainability.

Prior to her career pivot, Dai developed augmented reality and education technology products at startups in New York City and Shanghai. She has taught in East Harlem with Citizen Schools, South Africa on a Fulbright, and Azerbaijan as a Peace Corps volunteer. She is a dropout of the Harvard Kennedy School where she researched data privacy & cybersecurity, opioids, and water policy.
