Bingqi is a former Senior Associate in RMI, primarily focused on power market analysis, renewable energy integration and business model analysis, and coal transition in the power sector. Bingqi joined RMI in 2019.

Background

Prior to RMI, Bingqi worked as a researcher/consultant in Department of Electrical Engineering of Tsinghua University, and as a market designer at the North China Power Design Institute, where he participated in the design process for several key spot market pilot provinces in China Bingqi has a strong background in power market design and electricity dispatch modeling and analysis.
