Allison Clements

Founder of goodgrid LLC

Allison Clements is founder and president of Goodgrid, LLC, a clean energy policy and strategy consulting firm based in Salt Lake City, UT. She represents advocacy organizations, philanthropies and state commissions on federal energy regulatory policy. She founded the firm in January 2017, after nine years with the Natural Resources Defense Council in New York, NY. At NRDC, Allison was a senior attorney and director of the Sustainable FERC Project, a coalition of clean energy-focused NGOs focused on removing regulatory barriers to the accelerated deployment of clean supply- and demand-side resources. There, she advocated on the policy aspects of Orders 764, 745, 755, 1000, 792, 784, as well as other planning and markets-related rules and issues. While at NRDC Allison also served three years as the organization’s corporate counsel. Prior to her time there, Allison spent several years as a regulatory and transactional attorney in private practice.
