Alexis is a senior associate in the Climate Intelligence Program. She supports the Carbon Markets Initiative, working to improve data quality and transparency on the voluntary carbon market.

Background

Before joining RMI, Alexis developed tools, guidance, and analyses for nature-based carbon project developers and buyers as an independent consultant and at Fair Carbon, where her work focused on mangrove ecosystems. Prior to that, Alexis was a Fellow at the African Wildlife Foundation, where she researched the biodiversity economy and the links between conservation and public health. She has also led work on rangeland carbon, wetland and riparian restoration, and community-led conservation.
