Nevada Power Company

The Nevada Power Company needed to develop demand response programs for its commercial and residential customers in Las Vegas as part of the utility’s long-term demand management strategy. RMI consultants evaluated the available technologies and products for demand response, and we helped Nevada Power to better understand its commercial and residential customers and the types of load management programs that would work for the company. RMI assisted the company in defining the scope and design of programs for its commercial and residential customers, involving both load response and price response using time-varying critical peak pricing rates.
